Insitu Group

Designing a workplace for a builder comes with a high bar, because they know their materials better than anyone and they want to see their craft shown off properly. For Insitu Group, the narrative became ‘Character with Capability’, using materials in a way that feels raw, honest and understated while still showing everything they're capable of. We restored a three-storey warehouse in Port Melbourne and kept its trusses, exposed brick and even some of the graffiti, so the workplace feels honest, layered and warm.
